Shirley Lue Kathleen Bro of Fairland, OK passed from this life and went home to be with her Lord and loved one Friday, February 4, 2022 at Global Fairland Maple Healthcare and Rehab in Fairland, OK. She was 87.

Shirley was born April 1, 1934 in Baxter Springs, KS to H.K. and Millie (Peters) Robbins. She had lived in Fairland, OK most of her life. She attended school and graduated from Baxter Springs High School Class of 1952. She married Charles Fred Bro in Baxter Springs, KS July 5, 1952. They were married 59 years in 2011 when Charles passed away. They had 5 children.

Shirley was a talented artist and wrote poetry for her enjoyment. She loved working in the yard and always had many beautiful flowers and plants. She loved cooking and being with family. She was also an avid OU Football and Kansas City Chiefs fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles on November 29, 2011, her parents, 1 brother Don Robbins, great grandson Keagan and a nephew Chad Williams.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Darcy Kinsey and husband Doyle of Fairland, OK, 4 sons, Dean Bro and wife Tamra of Miami, OK, Pat Bro and wife Kathy of Fairland, OK, Mike Bro and wife Tammy of Fairland, OK and Joel Bro and wife Nancy of Afton, OK, 3 sisters Ann Kline of Miami, OK, Vickie Williams and husband Bill of Joplin, MO and Dee Dee Fowler and husband Joe of Adair, OK, 11 grandchildren Laney Cook and husband Wes of Afton, OK, Clint Kinsey and wife Roxann of Afton, OK, Zachary Bro of Tulsa, OK, Lindsey Bro of Tulsa, OK, Jeremiah Bro and wife Mackinzie of Stillwater, OK, Jessica Bro of Miami, OK, Jacole Bro of Fairland, OK, Callie Bro of Fairland, OK, Kameron Bro wife Angelique of Afton, OK. Dacotah Bro and wife Riley of Bluejacket, OK and Lakelan Bro of Bluejacket, OK. Shirley had 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She loved them all.
