Tyler Greenlee

Johnie Tyler Greenlee of Fairland, OK passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO after a 6 week battle with Covid. He was 28.

Tyler was born December 17, 1993 in Miami, OK to Johnie Greenlee and Sherri Zinn. He attended Picher schools.

His love of guns, Xbox and the F word are the first things you learn about him when you meet him along with his kind heart. He was one of the funniest people you will meet and will make you giggle.








Tyler was employed by TTP&L in Parsons, KS having traveled to Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska recently for work. He was Employee of the month for October 2021. He always had stories about "A buddy I work with".

Tyler leaves behind his best friends Nephew Nick and Cousin Corey, they always have his back. Preceding Tyler in death is a brother, John Nicholas Zinn Greenlee in 1986 and grandfather, Jimmy Zinn.

He leaves behind his mother, Sherri Zinn of Miami, OK, his father, Johnie and Brooke Greenlee of Fairland, OK, his sisters, Megan Greenlee and Dustin Hoffer of Commerce, OK and Kylee and Austin Douglass of Fort Hood, TX, his brother, Ethan Greenlee of Durant, OK, nieces and nephews, Nick, Kenzie, Paige, Mason and KD Hoffer, grandparents, Sharon Zinn of Miami, OK, Sherry and Doyle Goins of Baxter Springs, KS, Bud and Rhonda Greenlee of Baxter Springs, KS, bonus grandparents, Dick and Laura Casey of Joplin, MO, special uncle and aunt, Jamie and Shniece Zinn of Miami, OK and cousin and best friend, Casy and Rachell Zinn of Miami, OK and many friends and family. Tyler will be very missed, loved and remembered every minute of every day.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK with Rev. Tom Watson officiating. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK with Ethan Greenlee, Dustin Hoffer, Corey Zinn, Jamie Zinn, Nicholas LeLeon, Nick Panek, Steven Billman and Brad Burrows serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK.
