Earnest Shamblin

Earnest Lee Shamblin, 66, of Granby, Missouri, entered into rest on March 5, 2022, at his home following a sudden illness. He was born on June 8, 1955, in Miami, Oklahoma to the son of Dean and Frances (Blakey) Shamblin. He was raised in Bluejacket, Oklahoma area where he attended school. 

Earnest later became a member of the Teamsters, where he worked as an over-the-road truck driver. After retirement, he bought a farm where he lived and worked. 

Earnest and Beth Sly were united in marriage on October 14, 1995, she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include three sons: Jacob Shamblin, Kyle Shamblin, and his wife, Katelynn, James Johnson, and fiancé, Tandy Hopper; seven grandchildren; one brother, Louis Shamblin, and many extended families. He is proceeded in death by his parents.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Clark Funeral Home in Granby, Missouri. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home where the family will receive friends.
