Gary Wynn

Gary Lee Wynn, 71 of Neosho, Mo passed away on March 2, 2022 at Mercy Hospital
In Joplin, Mo. He was surrounded by his family.

Gary Lee Wynn was born in Carlinville, Illinois to the late Raymond and Martha Wynn on June 27, 1950.
He was the youngest of 4 boys. He was a 1969 graduate of Carlinville High School.









He married Fayetta (Sickelbower) on August 4, 1972 in Steelville, Mo. She survives. They had a double wedding along with Carol and Bill Lea. In August of this year, they would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary. The 2 couples have remained close friends throughout the years.

To this union 3 children were born. Daughter Amy Reaardon (Andrew), Sons Adam (Jessica) and Anthony (Gazelle). He had 9 grandchildren, Kris Finley (Rita) OK City, Kyler Finley (Hailie) Forsyth, Mo. Destiny Price of the home, Logan Wynn, Kooper Reardon, Mason Reardon, Abby Wynn, Amon Wynn and Aiden Johnson. He had 4 Great Grandchildren, IzaBella, Oakley, Michael and Ellie. He took great pride in making sure all of them had the things they needed. Destiny has lived with them since she was a baby. He was an avid sportsman all his life. He hardly ever missed a game or activity of the grandchildren.

After graduation from high school, he served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. He served on the Neosho Recreation Board for a number of years. He was always interested in politics and government.

Upon retirement Gary spent many hours driving and taking and picking up people when the need arose. Additional survivors include 2 brothers: Don Wynn of Pilot Knob, Mo. and Fran Wynn, Lebanon, Mo. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Tom Wynn and his parents Raymond and Martha Wynn.



Memorial services will be held March 19th at 1:00 at Monark Baptist Church 18472 Linden Dr. Neosho, Mo. 64850. Melvin Stapp will be officiating.
