Keith Booe

Keith Duane Booe, age 62, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home in Joplin.

Keith, son of the late Reverend Neil and Mildred (Murphy) Booe, was born on March 19, 1959 in California. He attended high school in Warrensburg, graduating with the Class of 1977. 

Keith was a talented musician. He began his lifelong engagement with music as a piano, organ, and keyboardist performing in churches with his family and then later on with different musical groups. Keith was a kind soul and loved his family deeply. He enjoyed every moment spent with them playing music and making memories together.

 

Survivors include his cousins, Diana Drake, of Joplin, Mike Booe, of Joplin, and Rick Knight, of Washington D.C.; a special friend, Pat Hempsmyer, of Joplin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James “Jimmy” Neil.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
