Allie Mavorene Terry of Wyandotte, OK passed from this life Monday February 28, 2022 at Windridge Nursing Center in Miami, OK. She was 88.

Mavorene was born May 27, 1933 in Vinita, OK to Chester and Sarah (Cox) Patrick. She had lived in the Wyandotte area for 57 years moving from Vinita. She graduated from N.E. O. A&M College in Miami, OK and Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. She was a School Teacher for Wyandotte Elementary School for 23 Years.

Mavorene was preceded in death by her Husband Buddy Terry, her parents, 3 brothers, Millard Patrick, Lillard Patrick and Sonny Patrick and 2 sisters, Nell Cauthon and Imogene Barbee.

Survivors include 1 son, Mitchell Terry and wife Deborah of Fayetteville, AR, 2 daughters, Debra Brodrick of Miami, OK and Robin Stone and husband Alan of Bellevue, NE, 1 sister, Sharron Shirley of Louisburg, KS, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami, OK. Pastor Rick Terry will officiate. Casey Brodrick, Brent McBrien, Rick Terry, Brad Williams, Ross Stone, Craig Campbell and Alan Stone will serve as pallbearers. Valerie McBrien, Katie Terry, Ali Williams, Libby Stone and Lori Weaver will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
