Russell Puckett

Russell Junior Puckett, age 89, of Neosho, Missouri, entered into rest at 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. He was born April 14, 1932, in Arbyrd, Missouri, to the late William Edgar and Flora Gertrude (Gramblin) Puckett. On June 11, 1952, he married Sarah A. Caddy in St. Louis, Missouri. She survives him of the home.

Russell worked as a warehouse supervisor for Sunbeam until retiring in 1994. He then worked as a Walmart greeter. His favorite pastimes were woodworking, doing puzzles, working on cars, and in his yard. Most of all, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his five children, Sarah Jenette Brannan of Neosho, Steven Puckett of Stella, Missouri, Randy Puckett and his wife, Karen, of Goodman, Missouri, Anita Patterson and her husband, Jerry, of Anderson, Missouri, and Shelly Bickford of Neosho, nineteen grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Stella. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, in the funeral home.
