Beth Harris

Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Harris, age 77, of Purdy, MO, passed away on Sunday morning, March 27, 2022, while at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.

Beth was born on October 5, 1944 in Joplin, MO, daughter of the late Carl and Maude (Boggs) Chandler.

On October 5, 1962 in Sarcoxie, MO, Beth married Gary W. Harris. To this union, they were blessed with three children.

Beth is survived by her husband Gary, of the home; two sons, Rick Harris and wife Rhonda and Brian Harris, all of Purdy; one daughter, Terri Garrison of Purdy; three grandchildren, Jake Harris, Andy Harris and wife Kaylynn, all of Purdy and Kindra Eden and husband Kelbe, of Cassville; three great-grandchildren, Asher and Moriah Eden and Elliot Harris; as well as one sister, Belva Lou Parmley, of Sarcoxie.

Beth was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Daniel Garrison; and two brothers, Nelson and Elwin Chandler.

Beth enjoyed many things in her life, but she dearly loved the Lord, her grandkids and singing.

Private family services were held at the Harris Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Gideon’s International in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
