Jared Howe

Jared Ryan Howe, Neosho, entered into rest on July 12, 2022, in Joplin, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 28. 

Jared was born July 2, 1994, in Joplin, Missouri, the youngest of six children to Terry D. and Lynda K. (Abernathy) Howe. He graduated from Neosho High School in 2016 and was a lifelong area resident. 

Jared loved swimming, playing the drums, piano and musical instruments, dancing, football and watching Veggie Tales. He loved eating out with his family and attending church. 

Jared is survived by his parents, Terry, and Lynda Howe of Neosho; siblings, Jacob (Ashley) Howe, Josh (Shelby) Howe, Jade Campbell, Jeremy Howe, and Jordan Howe; his maternal grandmother, Nelda Abernathy; his paternal grandfather, Stan (Betty) Howe and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Don Abernathy, and his paternal grandmother, Gloria Howe. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Mark Parra will officiate. Interment will follow in the Gibson Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 2 to 3 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Contributions in memory of Jared may be made to Cookson Hill’s Children’s Home, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, Missouri 64850.
