Joe May

Joe May, age 65, Joplin, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Joe was born July 24, 1957 in Livingston, Texas, son of the late Francis L. May and Alvenia L. (Mays) May. He grew up in Diboll, Texas where he attended school before beginning his career as a truck driver at the age of 17. He loved to go Mudding on ATVs, and was especially proud of his nieces and nephews. He retired from trucking with Snap Leasing of Liberty MO.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny and Raymond May, sisters, Marie Thompson and Frances Pomeroy.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha May; sisters, Louise Casper of Hudson, Texas, Annette May of Lufkin, Texas and Glenda May of Plantersville, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with no formal services planned at this time.
