(From Clark Funeral Home)Wilma Elinora Ella Brixey, age 81, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, in Neosho, Missouri. She was born December 20, 1941, the daughter of James Lee Born and Dorothy (Hicks) Born.
Wilma married Willard Brixey on July 22, 1960, in Bentonville, Arkansas, and he survives in the home. She was a homemaker, loved buying and selling antiques and was a partner in the flea market. Wilma loved flowers of all kinds and loved making moccasins.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, James (Connie) Brixey of Neosho, MO, Penny (Rich) Neff of Neosho, MO, Arthena (David) Caywood of Neosho, MO, Karana (Theron) Kohpay, of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mae O’Gee of Albuquerque NM. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and a grandson Aaron Paschke.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the Gibson Cemetery in Neosho, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, 11281 Highway 86, Neosho, MO 64850.
