(From Adams Funeral Home)Charles Hartford Reed, II, age 67 of Nixa, died May 17, 2023. He was born September 1, 1955 in Walters, Oklahoma, the son of Charles Hartford and Mary Jo (O’Guinn) Reed.
On April 27, 1994 he was united in marriage to Nancy (Harris) Reed.
Charles worked for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 40 years.
Survivors include: his wife Nancy Reed of Nixa; children, Alicia Heil and husband Josh of Ogden, Utah, Andrea Reed of Ozark, Amanda Reed and husband Sam Pyle of Springfield, William Olson and wife Tina of Joplin and Abigail Reed of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; grandchildren, Logan Heil, Kyleigh Heil, Chloe Olson, Graham Olson, Liam Gaines and Jackson Yauger; his sisters, Molly Unversagt and husband Tom of Van Buren, Arkansas, Sheila Huffstetler and husband Ed of Van Buren, Arkansas and JoAnn Van Scyoc and husband Eric of Rocky River, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m.on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa with Pastor Dennis Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
