Tim was born on February 23, 1949 in El Dorado Springs, MO, to Lucien and RosaBelle Carter. He graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in the Class of ‘67. In the late 70s he began working at 3M in Nevada, MO, where he held many positions including the Mix and Mill #1 Operator Color Matcher. He retired from 3M in 2005.

Tim will be remembered for being an encouraging t-ball, softball, and baseball coach. He was a member and deacon at Park Street Christian Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who found himself in a deer stand, duck blind, or on a fishing bank whenever he had time. In his most recent years he was devoted to his many grandchildren, attending sporting events, school ceremonies, and any other events to show his love and how proud he was of them.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lucien Carter and RosaBelle (Harvey) Carter; sister Rosalie “Ann” Stebbins; Granddaughter Lanie Ann Watkins; and Son-in-law Travis Bryson. He will be significantly missed by his wife of 51 years Peggy; daughters Kelly Bryson of El Dorado Springs, Amy (Rusty) Pittsenbarger of Lamar, and Tessie (Brandon) Watkins of El Dorado Springs; grandchildren Isabelle, Olivia, and Sophia Bryson, Ethan (Sydney), Cora, and Trey Pittsenbarger, Sadie, Anna, and Carter Watkins; brother-in-law Albert and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
