Allan Greninger

Allan Lee Greninger, age 50, of Webb City, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Allan was born on November 5, 1973, in Joplin. He was a lifelong resident of the Joplin area and a skilled mechanic who was currently employed with ARC and was previously employed for several years with Kenworth of Joplin. Allan was united in marriage to Tammy Enochs on November 1, 2014, in Webb City.







Outside of work, Allan was an enthusiastic gun collector, with a particular passion for knives and flashlights. He loved the outdoors and cherished the times when he could bring everyone together for his legendary BBQs. Allan was the undisputed king of the grill, often playfully warning others to steer clear of his domain while he cooked up a storm for his loved ones. These gatherings were filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth of Allan's generous spirit. Allan will be dearly missed and forever remembered as a great father, husband, friend, and his unwavering patriotism.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Greninger, of Webb City; daughter, Shyanne Thornburg, and her fiancé, Brandon Witt, of Joplin; his brother, John Greninger, of Joplin; his aunt, Callee Greninger, of Springfield; one nephew, Jared Greninger, of Webb City; and one niece, Shayla Riner. On October 29, 2015, Allan was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Thornburg Jr.






 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Parker Mortuary in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
