Bob Bradford

Bobby Wayne “Bob” Bradford, age 79, of Wheaton, Missouri passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin after a long battle with dementia.

He was born November 25, 1944 in Stella, Missouri the son of Theodore Montgomery and Margie (Stephenson) Bradford, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his sister, Linda Beavers and grandaughters, Miranda Ballard and Mykala McKinney.








Surviving are five sons, Larry Bradford of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Kevin Bradford and his wife Teresa of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Teddy Bradford of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Randy Bradford and his wife Tera of Bentonville, Arkansas and Nicholas Bradford and his wife Sarah of San Fransisco, California; three daughters, Tammy Bradford of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Gina McKinney of Noel, Missouri and Brandy Bradford of Wheaton, Missouri; three sisters, Pat Savage of Exeter, Missouri, Janie Bateman of Rogers, Arkansas, and Barbara Eaststep of Kansas City, Missouri; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Bob grew up in Seligman, Missouri where he attended grade school. After moving to the Wheaton, Missouri area, he attended junior and senior high school in Wheaton from where he graduated. He worked in many different industries, but was most known for his time as a truck driver and a horse wrangler.








Bob loved the cowboy way of life and all things western. He was a talented leather worker, was exceptional with animals and loved his work with horses. Later in life he took up simpler hobbies such as reading, watching western shows, and being with his dog, Daisy. Bob was very strong in his Baptist faith.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2024 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor Scott Mitchell will conduct the service.
