David Price

David Eugene Price, age 70, of Eucha, Oklahoma passed away March 2, 2024. David was born April 18,1953.

Married in 1977 and survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Karen L. Price and her son George Lando of Lanagan, MO, who was always there with loving support.

David was preceded in death by both of his parents and a younger brother Kirby. David and Karen retired from Lanagan, MO to enjoy the Grand Lake area in 2015. 

In David's youth, he followed in the family's home building profession in the Claremore, OK area where his father, Raymond Cleo Price was an established Contractor. David was primarily self employed and always amazingly creative in all his endeavors; spec home builder, auto rebuilder/restorer, home and camping projects and so much more .... the "creative" edge he likely inherited from his mother, Lila Beatrice Price, who was a beautician early in life and later a Realtor/Broker. 

During his school days at Sequoyah High School, David created a rock and roll band including his youngest sister Myrna and lifetime friend, Richard Ward of Claremore, among others. The band played various events including the Tulsa State Fair, dances, school events and the Claremore Rodeo Night Club. David was a devoted lifelong follower of the Christian Science Faith and the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy. He was also a patriot and a Marine in the service to his country from 1971-1975.

David is survived by his three sisters... Cleo Taylor, Jackie Crutchfield and Myrna Price all from Claremore, OK; His four nephews, Nathan Gammel and wife Genny of Owasso, OK, Keith Crutchfield and wife Monique of Broken Arrow, OK, Brandon Crutchfield and his wife Gayla of Cleveland, OK, Ryan Price Tsai and wife Abby of Springfield, MO; his niece, Price KC Tsai of Bellingham, WA; David was also fortunate to have four boys as double cousins from his Uncle Frances Price and Aunt Edna Price, both deceased of Claremore, OK, the boys were... Ronnie Price and wife Sharon, Burleson, TX, Bruce Price and wife Dee, Sparta, TN; Daryl Price and Terry of Claremore, OK, Gary and Charlene Price of Axle, TX both deceased.

 

There will be a special private service and celebration at a later date specifically for the immediate family.
