DeeDee Saddler

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Delores June Saddler, affectionately known as "DeeDee" or "Red," peacefully passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 87.

Born on April 24, 1936, to Ragnal and Ruth Vance in Granby, MO, Delores was a cherished member of the community throughout her life. DeeDee dedicated herself to various roles, including working in a clothing and beauty salon, as well as serving as a nurse's aide for Dr. Barns for many years. She was a woman of faith and a devoted member of the Silver Moon Full Gospel Church. Additionally, she found joy and camaraderie as a member of the Gingham Girls.

A homemaker at heart, DeeDee poured her love into creating warm and welcoming homes. She had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones. Her knack for decorating made her homes truly special, and she enjoyed the simple pleasure of shopping for items to beautify her surroundings.

On March 12, 1952, DeeDee was united in marriage to William (Bill) Saddler in Bentonville, AR, and together they shared a beautiful journey until Bill's passing on July 29, 2016. Their love was blessed with two sons, Alan and Mike Saddler.

While Mike preceded her in death, Alan Saddler and his wife Angela survive her, along with their grandchildren Caleb, Brook, Megan, Luke, and Kimberly, as well as two great-grandchildren. DeeDee also leaves behind her sister, Wanda Kenner.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate DeeDee's life will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Granby Memorial Cemetery. Prior to the service, an open viewing will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Clark Funeral Home in Granby.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of DeeDee can be made to the Silver Moon Full Gospel Church, where she found solace and fellowship.
