Don Osburn

(From Clark Funeral Home)

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Donald Walter Osborn, who peacefully passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 78.

Donald, affectionately known as Don, was born in Neosho and graduated in 1963. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication to his community.

Don was the proud owner and operator of Osborn Insurance Agency in Neosho, where he served his clients with integrity and compassion until his well-deserved retirement.

He was not only a successful businessman but also a devoted member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Neosho, where he served as a Deacon, touching the lives of many with his faith and kindness.

In his leisure time, Don found joy in woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces with his skilled hands. He cherished moments spent with his beloved family, finding solace and happiness in their company.

On December 1, 1989, Don exchanged vows with the love of his life, Betty Rahmoeller, in a ceremony filled with love and joy in Eureka Springs, AR.

Betty survives him, along with his daughter Dawnnette Burnett of Granby, and granddaughters Sidney, Emma, and Lacey Burnett. He is also survived by his sister Ila Haggard of Neosho, numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Pearl Osborn, his daughter Jeannette Osborn, his sister Sandra McGehee, and his brother Bill Osborn. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service to honor Don's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, followed by interment at Gibson Cemetery.
