(From Fohn Funeral Home)James Daniel “Jamie” Stephens, age 56, of Sarcoxie, Missouri passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Joplin in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born December 6, 1967 in Bentonville, Arkansas the son of James John and Emogine (Goodnight) Stephens. On November 14, 2006 in Bentonville, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Theresa Shepard, who survives.
Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Tasha Shepard of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Sandra Crihfield of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Chris, Angelina, Anthony, and Allisa; one great grandchild, Cannon and cousins Rick Stephens of Cassville, Missouri, Les Stephens of Bedias, Texas, Patsy Suggs of Strathmore, California and Robert Stephens of Cassville, Missouri.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James Stephens, and Emogine Stephens.

Jamie grew up and attended school in Bentonville, Arkansas. He had been an over the road truck driver for 30 years, worked as a bouncer at several area bars and was a wrestler. Jamie enjoyed fishing, hiking trails and all outdoor activities. He was a member of Risen Ranch Cowboy Church in Carthage, Missouri
Services are currently pending. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
