Tim Finn

Tim Finn passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at home in Joplin, MO surrounded by his family. He was a day shy of his 63rd birthday. He was born March 11, 1961, in St. Louis, MO to Clarence C. “Mick” Finn, Jr., (Deceased) and Laura “Ann” (Chitwood) Finn. Loving husband and best friend of 37 years of Pamela (Forkner) Finn. Beloved father and father-in-law to Tifany Rivette-Malan (Mark), Paris Rivette, Chelsea Finn, Kimberly Finn (Josh) Robinson, Misty (Greg) Jones, Annie (Darrel) Dinger, Toby Finn, Barbie Jo Finn, Brooklyn Finn and Bella Finn. Beloved “PaPa Tim” to five grandsons and one granddaughter. Beloved brother of Michael (Carol Kmiecik) Finn, Kathy (Mario) Ruggeri, Staci (Matt) Turner, and the late Christopher Finn. Beloved brother-in-law of Floyd Forkner, Sherry Romero, Pat (Debbie Gilmore) Forkner, Mike Forkner and Angel Brown, and Penny Bird. Dearest uncle, cousin, godfather, and friend to many. He and Pam were devoted foster parents of innumerable children for the past 35 years.








Tim was an incredibly hard worker and an excellent provider for his family. He worked in retail management, warehouse management, and as both a merchandiser and delivery driver for Pepsi Co., in
Joplin. 

Tim studied at both Quincy College and Southwest Missouri State. He loved the St. Louis
Cardinals and collected many baseball souvenirs. Tim and Pam also devoted much of their time to
renovating older homes. Tim was a member of Knights of Columbus through St. Peters Catholic Church.

He coached soccer for his kids and, also, refereed games. Tim enjoyed big family barbecues and was a
grill master. He loved boating and spending time at Table Rock Lake with his family.

He will be dearly missed by all that knew him and loved him.

Location: St. Mary’s Catholic Church 3035 S Central City Rd, Joplin Mo
