Wade Daniels

Wade Lee Daniels, age 68, of Joplin passed away on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO.

Wade, son of the late Walter and Kathleen (McMillen) Daniels, was born on October 5, 1955, in Indianapolis, IN. After moving to Joplin at a young age, Wade enlisted in the United States Army, serving with valor and pride. 

Not content with his contributions in just one branch, Wade furthered his commitment to service by joining the United States Navy. 







After honorably completing his service, Wade returned to civilian life and began a successful career in welding. He was an avid outdoorsman who cherished camping trips, fishing excursions, and long-distance bicycle rides were among his favorite activities, with family and friends.

Survivors include his children, James Daniels, of Joplin, Christal Witt, and her husband, Jeremy, of Ferndale, WA, Taylor Zuraw, and her husband, Mason, of Joplin, and Tyler Daniels, also of Joplin; his bonus children, Damon Waggner and Keaton Jenkins, both of Joplin; two sisters, Patty Hansen, and her husband, Terry, and Mary Hardee, all of Joplin; grandchildren, Heidi Smith, Everett LaRue, Gracelyn Zuraw, Alysin Waggner, Maya Zuraw, Mac Zuraw, Elaina Zuraw, Melanie Cadwallader, Jacob Yeubanks, Destini Yeubanks, Jaiden Yeubanks and Hailee Yeubanks; great grandchildren, Oakley Smith, Rainn Ledet, and Ditto Ledet; nieces and nephews, Damion Daniels, Bobby Daniels, Tasha Barber, Angelleea Fuget, Eric Daniels, and Sara Grimes; and a special bonus brother, Wesley Hayes; and numerous extended family members. In addition to his parents, Wade was preceded in death by one brother, Rocky Daniels; and one grandson, Petter Zuraw.






Military Rites with full honors will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Parker Mortuary with the family receiving friends for a time of visitation following honors until 7:00 PM.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
