(From Benton County Funeral Home)Ellen Marie Letterman, 68 of Joplin Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital in Rogers Arkansas on Sunday, June 16th, surrounded by her family & friends.
Ellen was born on August 30th, 1955, in Bartlesville Oklahoma. Though she was taken from this earth too soon, Ellen is remembered every day by her friends & family.
Ellen was a retired educator with over 20 years of teaching experience & most recently, she enjoyed her job & the community she built at the Joplin Home Depot, working in customer service. Ellen loved her family & was always supportive, in her free time she enjoyed spending time with her friends & attending her grandchildren's recitals & sporting events.
Ellen is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Quinton, her mother, Treva Quinton & her grandparents, Lucille & Charles Overfelt. She is survived by her 3 daughters Christina Rose, Rebecca Garrigus & Jennifer Bradley, her sister Martha Crabtree & brother Ralph Quinton II, along with 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren & countless friends.
A celebration & memorial of Ellen's life will be held on August 11th, from 2pm-5pm at the Mining Days Building in Webb City Missouri, condolences & information can be found at www.bentoncoutyfuneralhome.com.
