Kenneth Lane

Kenneth Paul Lane, 82, a resident of Joplin, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at The Communities of Wild Wood Ranch in Joplin, Missouri. 

Kenneth was born on March 4, 1942, in Cushing, Oklahoma to Alfred and Joyce (Daughtry) Lane. He went into the United States Army. 

After he was honorably discharged, he married Joyce Owens on October 7, 1966, in Missouri. 






He worked for years as an over-the-road Truck Driver. He also had worked, logging in the Cassville area in the Mark Twain National Forrest. He loved to drink his coffee and could oftentimes be found tinkering on something in the garage. He also enjoyed his cats, dogs and traveling and seeing places. He was onery and enjoyed giving his boys a hard time. His parents, Alfred and Joyce Lane preceded him in passing along with his sister Mary Bowling.

Those left to share his memory are his wife of 58 years Joyce Lane, his sons Terry Lynn Lane and his wife Kristy of Wyandotte, Samuel LeRoy Lane and his wife Misty of Monett, Missouri and Timothy Allen Lane and his wife Andrea of Seneca. Also surviving are his brothers Larry Lane of Crane, Missouri, and David Lane of Republic, Missouri along with seven grandsons and six great-grandchildren.








Graveside services will be on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Fairland Cemetery. Graveside services are being placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
