(From Parker Mortuary)Mariette G. Tarantino, age 76, passed away on January 15, 2025, in Joplin, MO. She was born on June 21, 1948, to the late Eustace and Felice (Papa) Tarantino in Brooklyn, New York.
Mariette graduated from Clara Barton High School, where she was known for her bright smile, love for dance, and generous spirit. She carried these traits into her adult life, becoming a skilled seamstress who created beautiful garments. Mariette's care for her family was paramount, and she devoted many years to looking after her aging parents, embodying the virtues of patience and compassion.
She is survived by her daughter, Angelina Tarantino; and siblings, Stephen Tarantino, and James Tarantino. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Ralph Tarantino.
Arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
