Jr. Hackett

(From Parker Mortuary)

Stepii Dishe Levelt Hackett Jr., known affectionately as Jr., departed this world and started his journey home on June 4, 2025, in Springfield, MO, at the age of 24.

Jr. was born on September 16, 2000 in Joplin, MO to Stepii Dishe Hackett and Monica Webb. He worked as a sales representative for AT&T in the Springfield area for a few years before his passing. He enjoyed longboarding, creating art through graffiti, rapping and spending time with his friends and family.

His deep connection to nature was a testament to his belief in meditation and relaxation as pathways to peace. His legacy is one of love, art and the relentless pursuit of harmony. Although Jr. was not an avid church goer, he believed in our Lord Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that while Jr.’s time on earth was brief, the imprint he left on our hearts is eternal and that one day we will see him again. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, the essence of Jr.’s spirit will continue to inspire those he left behind.

Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Monica Webb.

Jr. is survived by his father, Stepii Dishe Hackett and wife, Ashley; five sisters, Damitra Hackett, Aksha Hackett, Jordyn Michelle Hackett, Kylee Ricky and Macy Kareen Hackett; foster parents, Michael Brewer and wife, Deanna; aunt, Nerissa Webb; four nieces and nephews, Aisley, Temari, Inori and Moniko; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Webb; and a host of extended cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to help with the funeral expenses.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with pastor Colton Banks officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
