Robert Rives

Robert Alan Rives, Jr., aged 50, passed away on June 20, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 2, 1974, in Nevada, Missouri, to Dolah Jean (Evans) Rives and the late Robert Alan Rives, Sr.

Robert was a skilled handyman and an avid fisherman. He was the kind of person who never met a stranger. Everyone loved being around him. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Dolah (Evans) Rives; sister, Vicki Holley; half-brother, Austin Stude; son, Jacob Rives; and grandchildren, Brantley Rives and Callie Rives.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert Alan Rives, Sr.

Cremation arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
