Edna Adams

(From Ozark Funeral Home)

Edna C. Adams, age 88, a lifelong resident of Anderson, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday morning, January 17, 2026. She entered this life on August 4, 1937, in rural Anderson, daughter of the late Ed and Ada (Parman) Haddock.

She is survived by her husband of nearly sixty-seven years, Eldon Adams whom she married on February 7, 1959; two children, Dennis Adams and wife, Barbara, of Neosho, Missouri and Debra Davidson and husband, Clyde, of Goodman, Missouri; four grandchildren, Neal Davidson and wife, Matti, Emily Harris and husband, Austin, Dustin Davidson and Josh Martin; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Gene Haddock of Neosho and Delbert, Ralph and Jerry Haddock all of Anderson, Missouri; a sister, Darlene Roark of Seneca, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Edward Haddock, Dollie Brazeal and Betty Brown.

Edna was employed by Conagra Hatchery for over thirty-two years. After retiring in 2000, she did not slow down but instead found new ways to serve her community alongside her husband Eldon. Together, they lovingly cared for and mowed Banner Cemetery and maintained the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of Banner Church. Edna's faith was a cornerstone of her existence, and she was a faithful member of Banner Church for nearly seventy years.

Edna's interests were a reflection of her nurturing personality. She found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that warmed the hearts and homes of those she loved. Her cooking was a source of comfort and celebration, and her love for reading allowed her to travel to worlds beyond her own. Edna took pride in her home, and her dedication to cleaning was just another way she showed her care for her family's well-being.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Banner Church of the Nazarene with Dennis Bergen and Gary Swearengin officiating. Burial will follow at Banner Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Dennis Adams, Clyde Davidson, Neal Davidson, Emily Harris, Matti Davidson and Austin Harris. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorials are being directed to the Banner Church Building Fund c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
