(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Ivan Eugene Queen, age 77, passed away at 11:50 am. Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Missouri following an illness.
Ivan was born October 3, 1948 in Mulvane, KS. He was one of 18 children born to Earl Raymond and Ruth (Black) Queen.
He served the country for 7 years in the US Army. He worked several years for Tech Tank, Parsons, KS among several other different jobs until his retirement.
He was married to Katherine Marie Frank on February 8, 1969 in Carthage, MO. She preceded him in death on October 19, 2019.
Surviving are three children, Ivan E Queen Jr (wife, Donna), Robert L Queen Sr.(wife, Pam) and John L Queen (Companion, Rhonda James); 6 siblings, He had 17siblings. Surviving are Judith Fregoso, Kathy Baily, Brian Queen, Jimmy Queen, Mary Littlejohn, and Anita Haley; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Ivan was entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS for cremation.
