She was born on March 15, 1974, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jo was a mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.
She had a deep love for her dogs and found joy in the simple things—playing games, watching classic 1980’s television, and spending cherished time with her family and grandchildren.
Jo especially loved celebrating holidays, particularly those filled with laughter and the sparkle of fireworks. She will always be remembered as a free spirit with a radiant heart, who laughed easily and could always make others feel welcome. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jo married her husband, Aaron, who preceded her in death in 2011.

She is survived by her father, Dan Weston Black (Virginia Black) of Granby, Missouri; her mother, Sherry Annette (Wendell) Black of Granby, Missouri; her daughter, Nicoya (Adrian Simpkins) Tolle of Granby, Missouri; her son, Mat (Sage) Tolle of Granby, Missouri; and her three beloved grandchildren, Jayley, Layne, and Jonah.
She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Mary) Black of Granby, Missouri, and Tom (Rebecca) Black of Gladstone, Missouri.
