(From Fohn Funeral Home)Teresa Ruth “Teri” Smith, age 69, of Seligman, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.
She was born December 18, 1956 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Delbert and Wilma Irene (Bruton) Overman. In December of 1999, she was united in marriage to Russell Smith in Rogers Arkansas, who proceeded her in death in July of 2012. Also preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Christopher Overman, Delbert Overman and Billy Scuddy and sister, Candace Overman.
Surviving are her wife, Catherine Brothers of Seligman, Missouri; sons, Rodney John Rasmussen and wife Jennifer of Fairview, Texas, Delbert Rasmussen and wife Kara of Fort Pierce, Florida and stepson, Elijah Brothers of Aurora, Missouri; daughters, Trasa Boudreau and husband James of Washburn, Missouri, Fawnya Wauters and husband Daniel of Fort Pierce, Florida and stepdaughter, Joy Skelton and husband Jason of Seligman, Missouri; brothers, Kenneth Sharp of Seligman, Missouri and Bucky Barger and wife Tammy of Washburn, Missouri; sisters, Deborah Ball of Vista, California, Roxanne Robinette of Independence, Missouri, Toni Tombleson of Independence, Missouri, Tonya Sisco of Seligman, Missouri, Brenda Rainey of Monett, Missouri and Fetina Havens of Cassville, Missouri; 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren with one on the way.
Teri lived most of her live in this area. She attended school in Washburn, graduating from Southwest High School. Teri was employed by Tyson Foods Incorporated as a lead person for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading and loved dogs, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
