Malinda McCormick

(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)

Malinda Ann McCormick, age 53, passed away peacefully in the hospital on August 18, 2026, at 2:09 AM. A resident of Weir, Kansas, she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Malinda was born on January 24, 1973, in Yakima, Washington. She spent the majority of her life in Ashland, Oregon, where her happiest times were at Oak Hills Ranch, owned by her grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Mitchell.

She was a vibrant soul who brought joy to everyone she met. She found great happiness in the quiet moments of life, whether she was lost in the pages of a good book or enjoying the fresh air while crabbing at the coast. She was a lover of all music but held a special place in her heart for Prince. Above all else in this world, Malinda adored her grandchildren, who were the absolute center of her universe. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, John Deligatti; her mother, Joyce Mitchell; her children, Christina Nash, Dakota Hollenbeck and his wife Cassie Hollenbeck, and Alexander Nash; her sister, Lori Alexander and husband William; and her brother, Troy Tolliver. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Piper Hollenbeck, Reata Hollenbeck, McKinley Hollenbeck, Judson Parker, Micah Parker, Aubrey Hollenbeck, and Ernest Longoria IV.

Malinda was preceded in death by her father, Gary McCormick, and her sister, Terra McCormick.

A celebration of life will be held in Oregon in 2027. Exact details and dates will be announced by the family once they are finalized.
