Rosa Burrows

Rosa Aletha Burrows (Bugher), age 86, passed away on July 29, 2026.

She was born on December 2, 1939, in Anderson, Missouri, to Cecil and Edith (Woolard) Bugher. On September 30, 1959, she married the love of her life, Robert Burrows, in Joplin, Missouri. Together they shared many happy years of marriage while raising their son and daughter.

Rosa was a longtime and faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her steadfast faith, and the love she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burrows; her parents, Cecil and Edith Bugher; her brothers, Bill Bugher and Andrew Bugher; and her sister, Evelyn Clark.

She is survived by her son, Ross Burrows and wife, Patricia; her daughter, Aletha Adams and husband, Larry; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
