(From Ozark Funeral Home)Jack Allman, 93, passed away peacefully at Webwood Assisted Living Center, Neosho, Missouri, on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Jack was born July 13, 1933, in Pineville, Missouri to Columbus and Lucille Allman. He graduated from Pineville High School in 1951 and served in the Army National Guard from 1951 to 1967. He lived a life of hard work, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends.
On July 11, 1953, Jack married Billie Day Bonebrake. For over 73 years, their marriage was a true example of love and commitment to each other and their family. Jack and Billie would move to Noel, Missouri after they married where Jack worked for Humphrey and Son Funeral Home. He later went to barber school, working for Hoss Madison, before purchasing the Noel Barbershop. Jack will be fondly remembered for giving many first haircuts over several generations and he treasured the relationships built over the years with each one of his customers. Jack and Billie also co-owned and operated Kozy Kamp campground for several years in Pineville along with Billie's brothers and sisters-in-law,
Tom and Hattie Bonebrake and Jerry and Faye Bonebrake.
Jack loved spending time fishing, hunting, traveling, and family gatherings. Over the years, he was blessed to spend time with friends and family traveling to South Texas in the winter, and fishing on Grand Lake and in Alaska. If he was able, he was always present to watch his grandchildren play basketball, baseball, or golf. He was a devoted Christian and active member of the Noel United Methodist Church where he loved to sing in the choir and help with the men's prayer breakfasts. One of Jack's passions was helping with the church food ministries bringing loads of produce and other food items to help anyone who needed it. Over the past few months, he especially enjoyed sitting on the back porch of Webwood Assisted Living watching the deer.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, George and James Allman, and a brother-in-law, Tom Bonebrake. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Allman of Neosho; his two sons, Mark Allman and his wife, Julie, of Anderson, and Kirk Allman and his wife, Tracy, of Anderson; three grandchildren Matthew, Ben, and Lily; five great grandchildren Gage, Kason, Kian, Rowan and Sadie; and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
The family would like to thank Webwood Assisted Living and Compassus Hospice for the love and support given to Jack and the family over the past several months.
