Sondra Holland

Sondra Kaye (Windle) Pearson Drake Holland age 73 left us on March 2, 2016 after a long illness. 

Sondra was born on November 28, 1942 in Joplin, Mo to Kenneth and Jessie Windle. She graduated from Joplin High School in 1960. After high school she went to Cosmetology School. She married Monty Pearson in Fort Smith, Ar and she worked in the library. She had Debby Pearson with Monty. In Fort Smith she married Jerry Drake and moved to Wichita, Ks. She worked for the YMCA and had Kim Drake. Kim Drake had Danielle and Madison. 

Sondra owned a family day care for 7 years in Joplin, Mo and worked at Talbot Industries in Neosho, Mo for 11 years. She belonged to the Joplin Genealogy Society and was a volunteer at the Joplin Library Genealogy room for over 10 years. 

Survivors are a brother and sister in law Jim and Nancy Windle, Joplin Mo; a brother Rockie Windle of Joplin, Mo; a daughter Kim Drake of Joplin, Mo; a daughter Debby Pearson of Joplin, Mo; a granddaughter Danielle Drake of Joplin, Mo; a granddaughter Madison Drake of Joplin, Mo and a great grandson son Kaiden Drake of Joplin, MO. She was proceeded in death by her parents and a brother Kenneth Windle Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will be at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at the Mortuary.
