Vickie Lynn Sheller, age 64, of Joplin, passed away on Wednesday June 1, 2016, in Katy, Tx.
Vickie was born on December 6, 1951 in Springfield, Mo. the daughter of Leo and Donna (Henry) Sexton. She has been a resident of Joplin for the past twelve years. Vickie was a nurse and worked for Oxford Health Care. She was a member of Central Christian Center.
She married Tim Sheller on February 12, 2000, and he survives. Additional survivors include one son Matt Presley, Joplin; two daughters, Christi Henry and husband Robert, Katy, Tx., and Kelly Taylor and husband Matt, Springfield, Mo.; one step-daughter, Whitney Sheller, Columbus, Ks.; her mother Donna Sexton, Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Sandy Nobles, Springfield, Mo., a niece, Taylor Nobles, Springfield, Mo; and seven grandchildren, Allyson, Allyssa, Aaron, Boston, Bristol, Brayden, and Natalie. She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Sexton.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Bruce Lester will officiate. The family will receive friends at a time of visitation 6-7 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
