Maria Guadalupe Sanchez, 68, Neosho, passed away suddenly on January 12, 2019.
She was born October 29, 1950 in LaCofradia-Jalpa-Zac, Mexico to Manuel and Juana (Gonzalez) Rodriguez. Mrs. Sanchez was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Webb City and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family and taking care of her grandchildren.
She married Humberto Sanchez in November 1969 and he survives. Mrs. Sanchez is also survived by her children: Francelia Sanchez, Humberto Sanchez, Marina Sanchez, Juan Manuel Sanchez, Yolanda Sanchez, Maria De Jesus Sanchez, Grisel Sanchez, Leticia Sanchez, Maria Guadalupe Sanchez, and Lizbeth Sanchez, all of Neosho; siblings: Abel Rodriguez, Isaias Rodriguez, Anastacia Rodriguez, Gerardo Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez, and Rosario Rodriguez; thirty-three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Maria De La Cruz Sanchez; two brothers, Jose Rodriguez and Salvador Rodriguez; and one sister Rosalba Rodriguez; and three grandchildren, Erik, Benji and Isaac Verde.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 am Friday, January 18, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Webb City. Reverend Francisco “Paco” Gordillo will officiate.
A prayer vigil for the family will be held at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho on Thursday, January 17, beginning at 5:30 pm; a time of visitation will follow beginning at 6:00 pm.
