Thomas Francis McCarthy was born May 14, 1952 in Washington, the son of Richard and Mary (McHughes) McCarthy. He entered into rest on Dec. 26, 2018 at Mebane, Georgia, following a sudden illness.
Thomas lived most of his life in the southwest Missouri area and worked as a truck driver for D and D Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and playing video games.
Thomas and Cindy Tyler were married on Jan. 12, 1991 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and she survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Charles Payne of Denver, Colorado; grandson, Charles Payne, II and four sisters, Colleen Augspurger and husband, Eric and Margaret Carey of Neosho, Kathy Vandenberg of Springfield and Ann McCarthy of Finland, Espo. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
