“Red” Howard Enoch Evans, of Golden City, MO, departed this life on Saturday, March 9, 2019, in his home at the age of 89.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Red was an active member of AA in southwest Missouri for many years.
Survivors include nine children in the St. Louis area; five children in the Louisiana area; three children in the California area; special friends and caregivers, Bob and Voni McFarland and their children and grandchildren; and thousands of AA members.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at the Alano Club, 1800 East 30th St., Joplin, MO 64804. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help toward funeral expenses. Online condolences may be shared at www.greenfieldfuneralchapel.com. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
