Karen Carnahan

Karen Colleen Carnahan, 59, Granby, MO passed away December 12, 2019. She was born August 20, 1960 in Granby to Alice Jane (Gamble) and William Andrew Carnahan, Jr.

Karen was a lifelong resident of Granby, where she worked as a care giver. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church, which she enjoyed attending and singing in the choir. Karen also enjoyed watching the Gaithers and going to church singings. 

 She liked to crochet, to help milk cows, and to mow the yard. Karen was a very caring person and loved to visit with people. She enjoyed watching TV, her stuffed animals, helping others, and collecting funeral service memorial folders of friends and family members. 








Karen is survived by two brothers, Leslie Carnahan of Granby, MO and David Carnahan of Miami, OK; one sister, Janie Harris and husband, Earl of Granby; nephew, Jason Carnahan and wife, Jamie of Neosho; two nieces, Shayla Carnahan of Florida and Shayne Carnahan of Miami, OK; and great nephew, Jacob Carnahan of Neosho. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Granby Chapel, Clark Funeral Home in Granby, MO. Pastor Tom Casady, II will officiate. Interment will follow at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, Newtonia, MO. 

A time of visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm. To honor Karen, contributions may be made to Gideon’s International, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26; Granby, MO 64844.
