Marilynn Cargile

Marilynn Kay Cargile, age 68, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas.

Marilynn was born October 15, 1951 in Denver, Colorado, daughter of the late Clarence Dale Randall and Betty Lou Hatfield Randall.

She moved to Joplin as a child, and graduated from McAuley High School. She worked for years as a Travel Agent, first with Wilma Rice Travel Agency, and then Don Sheets Travel Planners, before retiring from Great Southern Travel Agency. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, Marilynn was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Allen Cargile, who passed away in 2013.








Survivors include her twin sons, Randy Nichols (Jennifer) of Carthage, and Ronald "Ronnie" Nichols (Crissa) of Joplin; grandchildren, Hayden Cargile of Joplin, Cory Nichols and Kyle Nichols both of Webb City, Brianna Nichols, Drew Marrett, Aimee Cargile, Trevor Cargile, Shay Gaddis, and Brooke Gaddis all of Joplin; great-grandchildren, Adrian Garrett, and Holden Cargile; brother, Donald R. "Donny" Randall (Linda) of Joplin; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with family and friends. Inurnment will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
