Norma Lee Harris, age 86, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 12:13 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020, at her home. She was born March 17, 1933, in Hanna, Oklahoma, the daughter of Earnest and Helen (Phillips) Crawford.
Norma was a 1949 graduate of Riverdale High School in Riverdale, California and attended Business college in Fresno, California. She was a claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance and retired from the 20th Century Insurance in California. She was a member of Corral 63 Equestrians club and a member of the Mt. Vernon Christian Church.
On March 24, 1952, she married Harold Harris in San Jose, California.
Norma is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harold; two sons, Jerry Harris of Lebanon, Missouri and Jeff Harris of Ventura, California; one granddaughter, Brianna Harris of Webb City, Missouri; one aunt, Tommie Lee Mason of Eufaula ,Oklahoma and niece, Deborah Foster of Dublin, Georgia.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Helen and sister, Bonnie Wiley.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March14, 2020, at the Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
