Michael Leon "Mike" Linton, age 51, Neosho, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident north of Neosho.
Mike was born May 11, 1968 in Stella, Missouri, son of the late Leon Linton and Martha Shewmake Bond of Neosho. He grew up in Newton County, and worked for Gulf States/Rockten. He loved his family, and spending time working on both cars and bicycles.
In addition to his father, Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Clark; and his step-mother, June Linton.
Survivors include his children, Nick Linton and wife Lacie of Joplin, Megan Boyer of Neosho, Haylie Linton of Miami, Oklahoma; mother, Ann Bond of Neosho; brother, Bobby Linton of Granby, Missouri; sisters, Lori Embrey (Bruce) of Carthage, Missouri, Sandy Sheilds (John Barnett) of Granby, and Julie Lambeth (William) of Webb City, Missouri, Karla Tynon (Steve) of Quapaw, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Karen Clark of Granby; grandchildren, Summer, Nicholas, Konnor, Kameryn, Kaisen, and Shelby; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces,and nephews.
A celebration of life for Mike will be held at a later date. Private family interment of his ashes will be held at a later date in Granby Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary
