Shawn Kelly

Shawn Allen Kelly was born March 10, 1959 in Muncie, Indiana the son of James and Donna (Nolley) Kelly. He entered into rest at his home in Granby, following an unexpected illness on April 7, 2020 at the age of 61.

Shawn attended the Southside High School and then studied production and industrial engineering at NeoPlan USA Corp, 1980-1984. He was a former supervisor/manager at Lamar, Colorado, April 15, 1983-June 6, 1998 and also had worked at Sutrak USA Corp. Engineer Division, Calhouns. He served his country in the U.S. Army. 

He was married to Kristine and then to Valerie Crum on May 11, 1984 and they were married until 1993. They had one son together, William Kelly, who survives. 








Additional survivors include step children, Tresa Holbert, Jessica Belkacemi and Rosa Conner; other family, Michael L. Kelly, Colleen A. Kelly, Mary B. Kelly, Patricia K. (Karl) Saunders, Savannah Elizabeth Kelly, Jonathan James Kelly, Charlie Allen Daniel Kelly and many nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Brian L. Nolley.

He was a kind soul. He loved his family and animals and was an animal whisperer. Any animal he came into contact with immediately loved him. He loved to play his guitar and sing. He was very talented with his hands, both mechanically and electronically. He like to take things apart and put it back together. Shawn Kelly had a great sense of humor, he loved to make people laugh. He like to look at things on the brighter side and make you smile. He loved, music, not limited to: Journey, Bad to the Bone, George Thorogood, Turn the Page, Bob Seger, Brandy, Looking Glass. He was a magnificent storyteller, loved to play pool and often could be found riding his Harley.

Shawn will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
