Nancy (Amie) Nelums Kelley, 51, passed away in her home May 8th 2020 in Galena, Ks
Amie was born on December 11, 1968, in Yuba City, California to Nancy Yost – Miller and George Doty.
Amie married Bobby Ray Kelley on June 8th, 1988.
Amie worked for Jim Mitchell Roofing and did home health care for most of her life.
She never knew a stranger, calling very close friends her family, she was a caretaker, always there to take care of someone no matter who it was.
She devoted her whole life to caring for her mother and after her brother passed away, she cared for his daughter Nevaeh for several years. She loved all of her kids and grandkids.
Amie was preceded in death by her mom Nancy Miller, her dad George Doty her biological father Kenneth Whisman 3 brothers - Leon (Butch) Yost, Marc Doty and Tommy Doty, 1 sister Robin Lynn Doty.
She is survived by 5 children Ashley Sirbuly, Bobby Adam Kelley and wife Julianna Kelley, and Lari Blood all of Galena, KS, Alisha Lawhorn and Husband Dustin of Fairland, OK, Christine Soule and Husband Steve of South Coffeyville, OK.
12 Grandchildren:
Legend, Camen, Kayson, Legacy, Eli, Easton, Lela, Parker, Jakota, Brenden, Brandan and Isaiah, and 1 great grandchild: Daxton
She is also survived by four brothers: George (Skip) Doty and wife Vivian of Pangburn, AR, Larry Robert Doty and wife Susan of Carthage, Mo Michael Shane Whisman, and Joshua Whisman both of Purdy, Mo,
2 Sisters: Marylynn Beaver and husband Randy Beaver of Grove Ok, Janecia, Taleon of Carthage, Mo, Michelle Barns and husband Chris of Pierce City, MO
Stepmother Christin Lynn Whisman and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Riverton, KS on Tuesday May 12th, 2020 at 5:00 P.M.
Pastor Michael Pearce will officiate.
