Gladys Bobski

Gladys Maxine Bobski, 96, of Pierce City, Missouri went to be with her Lord in heaven on Friday July 31 while staying at Lacoba Homes in Monett. She was born on March 3, 1924; the daughter of the late Columbus and Emma (Hilker) Young. 

She was united in marriage in Miami, Oklahoma to Raymond Bobski; he preceded her in death on August 27, 1986.

She was retired from the garment factory in Monett and was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City, the Monett V.F.W Ladies Auxiliary and the P.C.C.W. 








Gladys is survived by three sons: Joe O’Hara and Mike O’Hara both of Pierce City and Edward Bobski of Mt. Vernon; three daughters: Kelly Gray of Monett, Brenda Wilken of Pierce City, and Rosalee Morton of Carl Junction; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Gladys is being held on Tuesday August 4, 2020 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City, Missouri with Rosary being held at 7:00p.m. Funeral Mass is being held on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City, Missouri. Burial next to her husband will follow Mass at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Pierce City, Missouri.

Memorial donations for Gladys may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic School.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
