Jewell was born March 23, 1940 in Nevada, Missouri, daughter of the late Delmer and Marie Ring Womack.
She grew up in Chanute, Kansas where she attended school. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Jewell was preceded in death by her husband, Lavurne McGlothlin, who passed on August 19, 2005; a sister, June Womack, and a granddaughter, Brookyn Dawn Warner, who passed November 2, 2017.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin L. McGlothlin and wife LaDonna of Diamond, Missouri, Kris A. McGlothlin and wife Laura of Galena; daughter-in-law, Hope Mitchell of Jasper, Missouri; grandchildren, Chase Warner, Kobe McGlothlin, Derek McGlothlin, Summer McGlothlin, Michael Thomas, and Miranda Thomas; great-grandchildren, Gaige, Haiden, Kamdyn, Bridyn, Journey, Waylon, Kimber, Declan, Jase, and Keagan; brothers, Rick Womack and wife Helen of Nevada, Missouri, and Robert Womack of Ashville, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
No formal services are planned at this time. Burial will be next to her husband at a later date in Diamond Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
