Sheldon J. Bushnell, age 81 of Springfield, Missouri, entered into rest on August 5, 2020 in Springfield after declining health since January 2020. Sheldon was born Jan. 28, 1939 in Neosho, the son of Joe and Wilda (Joynt) Bushnell.
He graduated from Neosho High School, class of 1957. Sheldon worked in real estate sales for Charles Burt Real Estate and owned and operated rental properties in the Joplin area. He relocated to Springfield following the Joplin tornado.
He enjoyed traveling, especially to SE Asia and enjoyed the culture, history and people watching. He was of the Christian Faith.
Sheldon is survived by a daughter, Susie (David) Shaddy of Joplin; two granddaughters, Sarah Shaddy and Jenah Shaddy of Joplin and a brother, Dawn (Lavon) Bushnell of Neosho.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Joye Murphy and niece, Linda Bushnell.
Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 6 pm at the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday from 9 am until 4 pm.
