(From Daniel Funeral Home)Gerald Lee Peters, age 79, of Lamar, Missouri passed away February 15, 2022, at his home.
Gerald was born July 11, 1942 in Lamar, Missouri to James O. Peters and Hazel Reaves Peters. On March 23, 2008, Gerald married Nancy Elaine Dalton in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Gerald worked as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office. He was a member METRO club and the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Nancy, one son, Greg Peters of Roland, Oklahoma, two grandchildren; Cesily Peters of Lamar, MO, and Darla Irwin of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, three great-grandchildren; Kelsi Lawrence and Allyson Tiller, both of Pittsburg, Kansas and Mason Cliett of Lamar, MO, one sister, Joanne Wolf of Lamar, MO and one daughter-in-law, Laura Peters of Lamar, MO.
Gerald was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane, a son, Brent Peters and three brothers; Howard Peters, Clinton Peters and Robert Peters.
A private family service will be held.
