Rebecca Ann Bowman was born on July 21, 1951. She was the second of five children to Tom and Etta Mae Bowman.
Becky graduated from Seneca High School in 1969. Through the years, she attended Crowder College, MSSU, and the University of Georgia where she obtained her bachelor's degree in dietary food service.
Co-owning the Seneca Dairy Queen from 1978 to 1991. She worked in the cafeteria of several area schools and the Neosho Hospital. She retired from Dillon's grocery store in 1999.
Becky married Delbert Caylor in 1997, gaining three additional children and multiple grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Valeria Martinez and husband Eleazar; Grandchildren Estefan Martinez, Arcadia Ferguson and husband Stone, Vanassa Martinez, and Adrianna Martinez; Siblings Jon Bowman and wife Karen and Lynnetta Bowman; niece Karissa Boyd and husband Daniel; nephew Elijah Bowman and wife Christel. As well as great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Del Caylor, and Her parents Tom and Etta Mae (Robinson) Bowman; brothers Chuck Bowman and Jeff Bowman; nephews Levi Bowman and James Bowman and niece Gretchen Bowman.
A memorial service will be held at the Seneca Church of Christ on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Jake King will be officiating. John King will lead the Congregation in How Great Thou Art, It is Well with My Soul, and I'll Fly Away.
Burial will take place at the New Salem Cemetery (at a later date).
