(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Jack Ingham, 85, of Joplin, Missouri passed away at 1:16 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Jack was born on April 28, 1939, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jack had resided in Joplin since 1992 moving from McPherson, Kansas. Prior to living in McPherson, he had resided in Nebraska for several years. He worked in sales in the automotive and trucking industries for his entire working career before retiring in 2009.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Joplin. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed Sprint car racing; he loved watching the old country & western shows and dearly loved his grandchildren.
He married Sharon Brannen on June 25, 1960, in Lincoln, Nebraska and she survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Michael Ingham (Jennifer) of Pella, Iowa and Jon Ingham (Elizabeth) of Joplin, Missouri; two brothers, Jim Ingham of Phoenix, Arizona and Richard Kromher of Lincoln, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Jill Ingham, Maggie Ingham, Bridget Ingham, and Brendan Ingham; four great-grandchildren, Aidan Ingham, Ava Lydic, Claire Ingham, and Colten Lydic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Laverne Allen Ingham; one brother, Robert Ingham and one sister, Arvetta Kromher.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
